When Carol was a young child, she would pick a bunch of wildflowers at the end of the day of helping her mother in their vineyard. Next to the Merlot block was a creek that would only run during the winter months. At the bottom of the creek, lily plants grew and produced such elegant, white flowers. It was always such a beautiful sight and were the perfect flowers for her mother. The Lily Creek Merlot is sourced from Carol’s parents’ property in Angaston, next to the creek where the lilies still grow.
